Are you a Tome jockey? Do you crave the sweet satisfaction of a good unlock, a rare title, and the random /tell asking you "How'd you GET that?" Then check out these 10 odd Tome of Knowledge unlocks:
1. "AHHHHHHH" - A pretty well-known unlock but still one of the more fun. You get this unlock for falling to your death a total of 25 times, netting you some XP and the title of the same name.
2. "The Never-Rester" - Getting unlocks for unlocks is a pretty sweet deal, and this one is achieved after your 777th Tome unlock (making it your 778th!). You get a Turquoise Tome trophy for this baby.
3. "The Priest's Pain" - It doesn't seem quite fair that you can get rewarded for being rezzed, but a healer isn't for doing the rezzing, but that's the way that goes. If you're so death prone (as I am) that you are rezzed 1,000 times, you get this apt unlock and title (which if you wear, will probably ensure that you are never rezzed again).
4. "B Good" - I can't imagine getting this one unless you've played your character for a year or two, but if you manage to complete 2500 PQs with a "B" grade, you get this homage to E.T. (and a title).
5. "The Exhibitionist" - Admit it: that's a title (and unlock) that you wouldn't mind *ahem* showing off to others! Unfortunately, it's going to take you using an ability 10,000 times naked to get, so perhaps you should hire a small child to spam your "1" key. But blindfold them, cause of the whole nudity thing.
6. "Lady Godiva" - Lady Godiva was a noblewoman who, according to legend, rode naked through the streets of Coventry in England in order to gain a remission of the oppressive taxation imposed by her husband on his tenants. It's an incredibly easy unlock -- you just have to mount up naked in a capital city-- but the obscure reference makes this one for your collection.
7. "The Might of Poultry" - Really, all of the chicken Tome unlocks deserve a mention, mostly because they're near-impossible to attain -- but this one dwarfs them all. All you have to do to get this unlock/title is kill a mere 5,000 players as a chicken, pecking them down 1 HP at a time. Piece of cake.
8. "A Little Off The Top" - We at WAAAGH! are very firmly anti-unicorn, and are therefore delighted that this oddball Tome unlock is there to warm the depths of our heart. If you're Destruction and traveling through the Shadowlands, kill a level 15 champion unicorn called Sylendoras for the unlock and the title The Hornsnapper.
9. "The Drunkard" - This is about as far from a secret or exclusive as they come, although you did have to work a bit at the key End event to unlock this basic-level reward/title/unlock. It is kind of unique in the pantheon of Tome unlocks in that when you get the reward, you have to use a mug which makes a large beer-tipping animation over your head, and then you are bestowed this dubious title.
10. "The Extremist" - Secret plungers aren't talked about so much these days, or even well-known, months after release. There's at least three real ones and one practice one, and if you find the three real ones, you get this unlock and title. Perfect for the mountain Dew enthusiasts out there!
As an aside, here's an interesting quote I found over on the Prima Guides forum, where an author/editor/bigwig responded to complaints that the guides lacked (among other things) crafting and Tome info:
Mythic is EXTREMELY protective of this information. They really want players to discover it first. I know that is irritating for you all. You bought the guide because you want to do, not (necessarily) because you want to discover. I'm right there with you. Just remember that real live people at Mythic spent the past 3 years of their life working long hours and weekends to create this content for you. If they want just a couple of months of player discovery before we do the full reveal then that's their perogative. Again, I know it's frustrating (for all parties involved). Give us a month or two and we should be good to go. Sorry it can't be quicker but our hands are tied on this one.

Warhammer loot and kill without getting hit
Warhammer loot and kill without getting hit - At grimbeard station in chp 12 greenskin you can get on the train tracks and walk to the edge at an angle where you are kind of floating in space. you can grind the mobs patting below you, they cant path to you, and you can loot them when you kill them. Good greens so far.
As a sorceress this is easy, but i cant aoe them, the ones not directly targeted reset before they die. Be mindful of dwarves gaurding the stairs though, sometimes they can path to the top of the tracks where you are. I ground to elite chp 12 influence like this.
Thought i would add the best place for this is at the middle of the track in the station, on the north side of the track. There are 3 spawns and two pats that make for consistent grinding.

Warhammer online Invincibility Exploit
Details:
Use the print screen jump on any building located near the red dot in the image below. Face the wall, and be staring at the building on a flat side(harder to do on corners of walls). Make sure you are not at an angle (or you will travel down the wall while doing the print screen jump). I find it best to print screen jump on what looks like a support strut running up the side of the wall. Spam print screen and jump alternating VERY fast. Do it the right amount and you will end up falling into the building/into the water beneath the world.
From there you just swim around and attack everything. Monsters in CH15 PQ don't evade bug. Easy farming for inf+chest rewards.
You will need to decide when to stop stacking the printscr+jumps to properly fall into the building. I cannot tell you when to stop because it's different for each persons computer(the printscreen jump bug relies on interface lag that causes your jumps to stack onto each other while near an almost verticle surface : It relies on how long it takes your computer to screenshot)
It takes some practice to get print screen jumping working. Exploit does work. For those who are not used to print screen jumping it may take a long time or you may end up on the roof of the building instead. I can reproduce this exploit and will provide screenshots later.

The WAR on Twitter

It seems that any game company that wants to get the word out about what they're doing, or simply to generate buzz, leverages social networking. Many companies are now using that diminutive yet potent power of Twitter and Mythic Entertainment is no different.
The WAR Herald has announced that it's now twittering updates on Warhammer Online hot fixes, dev blogs, and topics of interest to the WAR community in general. The WAR Herald isn't Mythic's only Twitter presence though -- both Paul Barnett and Josh Drescher have feeds as well, followed by a growing legion of Warhammer Online fans.

Warhammer Online official forums are up

These Warhammer Online official forums haven't even been officially launched yet, however, some observant folks over at the VN Boards unofficial WAR forum noticed them and the word is starting to spread. It's pretty hard to sneak one past people on the Internet! You can log in to Warhammer Online's official forums with your WAR account username and game/account password (some people are reporting issues, so try using a combination of both).
Once logged in, you are prompted to enter a screen name and confirmation email. After setting that, you're good to go. Currently, the forum seems to be set up for the Public Test Server and 1.2 patch with subforums for announcement, general feedback discussion, RvR focus discussions, various combat and careers discussion, and bug reporting. This forum is embedded as a tab within their official WAR website. Mythic announced these forums a couple weeks ago, so it seems they are moving quickly on their word. We had a chance to speak with two unofficial WAR forum administrators from the VN Boards and Warhammer Alliance about how these official forums might impact their businesses. There was even some discussion surrounding things official forums can do that unofficial forums can't and vice versa. It's only a matter of time before we see how these forums will truly develop.

Warhammer online strategy to level 21+ solo, influence + gunbad
Mythic changed the XP function for level 21-31 last week. Players can take advantage of this by going to Gunbad.
When you zone in, choose the left path over the bridge toward a couple champion goblin squiq herders and their 5 non-champ pet squiqs. These non-champ squiqs are level 25. I was able to kill them at level 21 as a witch elf, depending on your class type, your milage may vary. They were worth 1680 xp each at level 210, by level 25 they were down to 750 exp each, but still worth 5 times as much as normal mobs. (which they are).
So, first go across the bridge, kill all 10 of the squiqs, if you are level 21, killing 10 will result in 16,800 xp to kill 10 mobs... seeing as most quests for this level only give out around 2500-3000 xp, this is insane xp. Once you kill those 10, they will need to be given some time to respawn. Move further into the cave and hug the right wall... now, I am not sure how tough this will be for non-stealth classes. This tip may end here for non stealthers.... anyway if you get past, you can get to another non-champ squiq area that is even better.... because it is inside a PQ that gives Gunbad influence.
The first stage of this PQ is to kill 18 squiqs. If you are solo, you are getting the mad XP for each kill, plus you get 600 influence per squiq kill. If you repeat this stage 1 of this PQ, 8 times you will be max faction for Gunbad. To get the most out of my time, I would queue up for scenarios right outside the Gunbad entrance, zone in, kill the first 10 squiqs for XP, if the scenario pops I take it. if not then I moved into the next area for XP and INF.
Tips: Beyond your imagination! The price of Warhammer Power Leveling has been cut again. You will not miss out on the mutual benefit at Gmbar, right? We believe that money-saving is just the top priority.

Warhammer Give Gold Bags to Others
Buy Warhammer Gold at cost from http://www.gmbar.com/, 24/7 live support at all time!
If someone gets a gold bag and someone else needs it more, the leader needs to set the loot options to master looter with a loot threshold of common. Then make the person that won the bag the master looter. The person will then open the chest and right click the bag. It can then be assigned to anyone who got at least a green bag. The bag must be right clicked before taking it from the chest.
Warhammer cheat - how to scavenge 30% quicker
Be sure to have autoloot checked.
When scavenging, allow the scavenge timer bar to get about 1/4 full, and perform any instant cast action.
After this you can walk away and will still get the scavenged loot placed in your bag.
This will allow faster scavenging since you dont have to wait through the animation or the timer.
You can start another scavenge before one if finished.
Really allows me to get alot of scaveneges in PQ's.

Tier 4 Campaign Changes - Fortresses
Latest change from the devs is related to Tier 4 fortress sieges, and should help improve the server stability and allow more players to participate and benefit in capital city sieges.
The epic battle between the forces of Order and Destruction rages on across the lands. Dark Elf against High Elf, Dwarfs pitted against their age old enemy the Greenskins, and the upstart Humans of Order wage a bitter battle against the Forces of Chaos.
Sometimes epic warfare is halted by the powerful forces of server instability. The Mythic team is fighting a WAR of our own against these Fortress Siege stability issues and is now prepared to take the next step towards the long-term goal of providing our players with a truly epic Tier 4 Campaign. We will be implementing more improvements in the coming weeks however this initial change will allow more players to experience the Tier 4 campaign to its fullest.
Players on the Phoenix Throne, Dark Crag, Vortex, and Darklands servers (with a planned deployment to all live servers to follow in the coming days) will immediately notice a change to the way that the Tier 4 Racial Pairing Fortress sieges function. We will be implementing a hard cap on the total number of players that are able to occupy the Fortress area during a siege. The purpose of this change is twofold: to improve server stability, and allow even more players to participate in, and benefit from, capital city sieges.
When the Fortress population reaches certain population thresholds, players who are attempting to enter the area of the besieged Fortress that are Rank 35 and below will be teleported to the warcamp for the region they are in. When the next area population threshold has been met, players that are Rank 37 and below will be teleported to the warcamp. The final population threshold applies to players that are Rank 39 and below. Once the total population cap has been met for the area surrounding the Fortress, all players that attempt to enter the area will be teleported back to the region's warcamp.
It's very important to note that the majority our players' Fortress siege experience should not be noticeably affected by this change. Hundreds of players will still be able to participate in taking the Fortress from their enemies. This measure will help to ensure that players are able to experience these epic battles in a more reliable manner.
Because of the strategic advantage that players will always have when defending a Keep, the attacking forces will have a numeric advantage when attempting to wrest control of a Keep from the opposing realm.
So get out there, lay waste to your enemies, drive their forces before you on the field of battle and be sure to choose your allies wisely.

Solo Hero mob Nerx Gutslime for Easy Loot (healers only)
Located in Mount Bloodhorn there is a Warhammer Hero mob named Nerx Gutslime. He is in a cave along the eastern side of the zone 53500, 44500 near a large Dwarf statue. There is a path to the left of the dwarf that leads up to a gap you need to jump to the next platform. You will see a log ramp that you run up and the cave is right to the left.
The great thing about this Warhammer Hero mob is that he is a shaman and does not melee, he only uses ranged attacks as long as you stay about 30 yards from him. When fighting him at range the only thing you need to worry about is a pitiful dot he puts on you that ticks for 300 dmg every 3 seconds for 9 seconds, so healing through it is not a problem at all.
It takes about 20-30 min to dps him down depending on the healers spec but the loot he drops is well worth the time invested.
Here is a link with his location, loot, and a pic of Nerx.
Nerx Gutslime - NPCs - Warhammer Online
The items are pretty damn good so killing him for an upgrade is an option or if you make talismans this can be a good way to make some gold. So far from my experience the items can be salvaged into uncommon 175 fragments and also have a chance to be salvaged into a 200 rare fragment.
Nerx like most Lair Heros has a 12 hour respawn timer so depending on when you kill him there is a chance for 2 kills per day. He also drops up to 2 weapons at a time, for me it seemed that he dropped 2 weapons about 75% of the time.
This can easily be done with multiple casters along with one healer and you can duo Nerx with a healer and a melee class as long as the healer takes him down about 15% before the melee jumps in. Its also a good idea for the melee class to get behind Nerx which will keep you from taking any dmg from the dot becuase it has a cone radius.
Thats about it hope this helps someone.
So hope those tips will also help you earn large warhammer gold, getting richer and enjoy more fun in the WAR! But if you wanna buy, i would like to suggest a great site: http://www.gmbar.com/, cheap and safe, 24/7 live help!
A brief set of Warhammer Engineer Tips
Let's talk something awesome: A brief set of Engineer Tips for Warhammer Online! It must be useful that those Warhammer Engineer Tips will help enjoy more fluently in the game.
- PvE use Skirmisher and Ancestral inheritance or Stubbornness, most mobs you fight are melee, so you will benefit much more from Skirmisher since Ballistics doesnt add nearly as much to grenadier abiliites as to rifleman.
- PvP once you get to Tier 3 and recieve Concussive mine make sure to use it! its one of our best tactics since all instant abilities that Destro might use now become 1 second channels and can be set back. great for ruining a melee DPS' day.
- Tinkerer is not highly desirable as a Mastery until level 29 when you can get Electromagnet. Even then, dont expect miracles unless you use Vent or macros to communicate well with your bright wizards and healers.
- Leveling in Tier 3 - in your mid-late 20s there is a good spot to level in Saphery, its the PQ to the north and a little west of chapter 13.
-Leveling in Tier 4 - 29 - 34, just northwest of the flight point to eataine there is a camp where dark elf npc's fight high elf npcs, the high elves will reduce the dark elf health to about 80% and if you take a scenario you dont have to worry about dieing as soon as you spawn in this area since the NPCs are already engaged with each other, leaving you free to take scenarios in the middle of a combat area with impunity. also a great place to level scavenging.
